Your Evochi grows from the steps your phone records anyway. There's nothing to log and no workout to plan.
Pick one of six colourways, name your Eggling and choose a daily goal of 5,000, 7,000 or 10,000 steps.
Steps become XP. A full goal earns 150 XP, with bonuses at 25%, 50% and 100% along the way and up to 20 more for going past it.
At level 10 with 7 active days your Eggling can become a Juvenile, and at level 25 with 21 active days, an Elder. You choose the moment.
Move the slider to see what a day is worth. It uses the same numbers as the game.
69 XP for the walk plus 25 milestone XP. That's an active day. At this pace an Eggling reaches level 10 in about 36 days.
Every Evochi starts as an egg and grows as you walk together. Same personality, same name, a little bigger and bolder each time.

More agile and alert, with a developing crest and tail. More personality, and the same voxel charm.
Level 10 and 7 active days

Strong, agile and full of life. Its crystalline crest and plated tail show a long road of walks together.
Level 25 and 21 active days
Daily quests pay out EvoCoins. Spend them in the Evochi Market on wearables, nest décor and snacks. Every wearable fits all three forms, so a favourite scarf still fits after your Evochi evolves.

These rules are built into the game, not left to chance.
The first two low-step days in any seven days never cost your Evochi vitality.
Watch data can arrive late, so a low day only counts after 48 hours.
If your phone didn't record steps, the day shows as pending, never as inactive.
If steps for a past day turn up later, Evochi recalculates and gives back any vitality it took.
Your Evochi's mood is a game state. It never judges your health, and Evochi never reads heart rate.
Reminders are off until you turn them on: one nudge a day, outside your quiet hours.
Evochi asks Apple Health or Health Connect for one thing: your step count. In practice that means:
Beta opens when the waitlist reaches 5,000 sign-ups. Invites go out in waitlist order, in waves, by email. Bringing a friend with your link moves you both up the line.
The first 1,000 people on the list get the Founder's Crown: a wearable that fits every form, kept forever, and never sold in the Market.
One message when it's your turn, and nothing else. We store your email, the colour you picked and your referral code, nothing more. Unsubscribe from any email, or ask us to delete you from the list, and it's gone.
Evochi is free to download. Everything in the Evochi Market is bought with EvoCoins, which you earn by walking and completing quests.
No. Your phone already counts steps, and Evochi reads that count from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. If a watch records steps too, Evochi merges the overlapping time so nothing is counted twice.
iPhone, using the Health app, and Android phones with Health Connect. Health Connect is built into Android 14 and later, and earlier versions can install it from Google Play.
Your Evochi gets two protected rest days in every seven, and a low day only counts after a 48-hour grace period. Over a longer break its vitality drops slowly and it may get sleepy or sick. A good walk or a Healing Herb helps it recover.
If you walk somewhere your phone can't see, like a treadmill, you can add steps by hand.
Only after a long run of low days, and never by surprise: it gets sleepy and then sick first, and the app shows its vitality all along. If vitality does reach zero, your Evochi rests in the Hall of Memories. You can revive it with three Healing Herbs or by reaching your step goal for a day, or hatch a new egg. You keep every item you own either way.
No. Evochi reads step totals your phone already records. It doesn't use GPS or your location.
Yes. Manual steps earn XP and help vitality. They don't unlock chests or cosmetic rewards, which keeps quest rewards fair.
Your day follows your account time zone, which you set in Settings. Travelling doesn't move it unless you change it, so a long flight won't cost you a day.
In the app, go to Settings → Privacy & data → Delete all data. You can also ask us to delete your account without the app: see Delete your account.
No, it's a game. It doesn't diagnose or measure anything about your health, and an Evochi getting sick is a pet state based on game rules. If you're starting a new exercise routine, check with your doctor first.
